| Fire August 16, 2008.
1:36 A.M. - Four apartment structure at the corner of Clarke Ave. &
Laurel St., Pocomoke City, MD. When the first fire units arrived the right
front conner and right side of the structure was fully involved. Pocomoke
was assisted by the New Church Vol Fire and Rescue Co. Fire Crews were on
the scene for over six hours. One Firefighter was treated for exhaustion
(overheated) by Pocomoke EMS. The cause of the fire is being investigated
by the Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office. PCVFC Chief Dicky Gladding was the officer in charge. |
