MVA - 10:33 A.M. August 5, 2008. Two vehicle accident on the Northbound span of the Rt. 13 Pocomoke River Bridge. It was reported that one of the vehicles rolled over. A piece of the guard rail broke loose and fell into Cypress Park, located under the twin spans of the bridge. Three people in the vehicles were transported by Pocomoke EMS to an area hospital. Northbound Rt. 13 traffic was detoured through downtown and across the draw bridge. PCVFC 2nd LT Eric Denston was the Officer in Charge.
