Shore’s ideal setting for your special event is the versatile and
accommodating
Community Center at the Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company. The Community
Center features over 11,000 square feet of space in four distinct areas
designed with flexibility in mind. All areas are fully ADA compliant.
The showplace of the Community Center is the chandelier graced elegant and stylish 7500 square foot Grand Ballroom that can accommodate a gathering of up to 400 or can be subdivided into two spaces containing 3750 square feet each. The area features a state of the art sound system, Wi-Fi and multi-media capabilities.
For smaller events, the intimate Community Room is a perfect option with banquet seating for up to 40. For that unique event that calls for a distinctive atmosphere, the Community Center’s fashionable Gathering Space, graced with well- appointed furnishings and a Grand Piano, provides a luxurious setting.
The Center’s Rental Director will assist you every step of the way from event planning through successful completion. In addition, the Ladies Auxiliary is also available as a catering option, or you may wish to hire an approved outside caterer.

Rental Information
The rental
of the Community Center includes use of tables and chairs, stage, premium
sound system and podium. Use of the Gathering Space is included in the rental
of the ballrooms. If the ballrooms are not rented, then the Gathering Space
will be available to rent.
Reasonable set-up and break-down times will be permitted without additional
rental fees if the space is not rented prior to or after event.

Specific rental information is included in the lease agreement and will be discused with you by the Community Center Director.

The Ballrooms are available for rent during non-peak times at a discounted hourly rate. Contact the Director for more information.
If an approved outside caterer is utilized for the event, then a $100 fee will be assessed for the use of the caterer's kitchen. If alcohol is served, there is a $100 alcohol usage fee.

Catering Options
You are free to select
a caterer of your choosing to accommodate your event at the
Community Center, however, the caterer must be approved by providing:
proof of adequate insurance,
have a business license and a
current health department permit.

Entertainment Options
Entertainment must
be approved by the Fire Company. The following DJ's and bands have
been approved to provide entertainment at the Community Center.
If you desire to utilize a DJ or band not listed, please consult the Director.
