Utility A4 was a Ford Econoline 15-passenger van, believed to be a 1991 model, that served the department in a utility and personnel support role. The vehicle was designated as A4 and provided flexible support for a variety of operational and non-emergency needs.
While Utility A4 was capable of being used to assist with EMS calls, it was rarely utilized in that capacity. Instead, the van was primarily used to transport personnel, support training activities, and assist with logistics during emergency responses and department functions.
Utility A4 played an important role in supporting the department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring personnel and equipment could be moved efficiently and safely as needed. The van was later turned over to the city.
