On 4/2/21 at 1:48 PM, the PCVFC was alerted to assist Somerset Station 5 (Princess Anne Vol. Fire Company) with a residential structure fire on Perryhawkin Road. Units arrived to find a single-story dwelling with smoke and fire showing from the structure. Engine 102 and Tower 1 personnel worked alongside Somerset crews to contain and extinguish the fire and complete extensive overhaul. Despite efforts by firefighters, several family pets perished in the fire. This fire is being investigated by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
