On 4/5/21 at 2:38 PM the PCVFC was alerted for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment on Rt. 113 near mile marker 2. Units arrived to find a severed utility pole and the vehicle resting off the road in the marsh. Crews had to extricate one occupant utilizing hydraulic rescue tools. One patient was transported by Maryland State Police - Aviation Trooper 6 with serious injuries. Two additional patients were transported to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional by Pocomoke City Emergency Medical Services. Stockton Vol. Fire Company was alerted to assist and covered the landing zone. This crash is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
