The PCVFC responded to a crash involving a Jeep and a State Highway dump truck. The jeep struck the right side of the energy absorbing device attached to the rear of the dump truck blocking the left lane of the Highway. The impact collapsed part of the energy absorbing device absorbing the majority of the impact as it was designed to do. This device helps reduce injuries during a collision such as this. One driver was transported by Pocomoke City Emergency Medical Services with minor injuries and the other refused treatment. Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack is investigating this crash.
