Yesterday at 1909 hours, the PCVFC and surrounding companies were dispatched to 2300 Blk of Worcester Highway for a reported house fire. The caller advised there was a grease fire in the kitchen. Fire Police 131 went on scene with smoke showing from a single story home. Engine 102 was first arriving and quickly placed 1 line in service. Engine 102 found a well involved kitchen with extension into the attic of the home. Tower 1 laddered the structure and assisted with opening up for the engine. All other companies were put to work on arrival. FF Donofrio had the command. This incident is being investigated by the Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office.
