July 14, 2016 at 1:42 am The Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Co. and Pocomoke EMS responded to a tractor trailer truck on its side across the Northbound lane of Worcester Highway (Rt. 113). Firefighters and ambulance personnel helped the driver of the rig exit the cab. He refused any medical attention. There was no fire.The truck was carrying chicken halves. The State Highway responded to detour traffic around the accident site. Recovery and clean-up crews were still on the scene at mid-morning.
