On 12/29/25 at 9:58 PM, the Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Co., and mutual aid companies, were alerted for a reported structure fire in the 600 block of Second Street. Units responded and found light smoke in the basement of a 2-story home. The crew from Engine 102 determined that the problem was an electrical issue with an oil boiler. Crews secured power to the unit and isolated the issue. Chief E. Denston had command of the incident.
