Members of the Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Co. traveled to Appleton, Wisconsin this week to visit the Pierce Manufacturing facility and participate in the pre-engineering process for our new engine.

During the visit, members worked with the Pierce team to review specifications and details as the apparatus moves another step closer to production.

We would also like to thank Atlantic Emergency Solutions and especially Doug Parker for their continued assistance throughout this process. Doug has been a tremendous asset to our committee, helping guide us through the many details involved in designing and purchasing a new piece of apparatus.

Delivery of the new engine is currently anticipated for mid-2027.
