After 53 years of active service, the Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Co. would like to congratulate firefighter and past Chief Merrill Lockfaw on his transition to Gold Badge Membership! Merrill has served as a line officer, administrative officer, or on the board of directors for just shy of 5 decades! He currently serves on the board of directors. In honor of his commitment to the department and the citizens of Pocomoke, last night, the membership unanimously voted to retire his number, No.1. Thank you, Merrill, for your unwavering service to the department and the citizens of Pocomoke.
