Afternoon Accident With Entrapment

On 3/4/25 at 2:08 PM, the Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on Boston Rd. near Sheephouse Rd. Pocomoke City Emergency Medical Services arrived first and found a 2-vehicle crash with a pickup truck on its side. A rescue box was requested as the pickup driver required extrication. Stockton Vol. Fire Company and New Church Vol. Fire & Rescue Co. were dispatched to assist. Crews stabilized the vehicle and performed a roof flap to access the driver. The driver was extricated and transported to Tidal Health Peninsula by Maryland State Police - Aviation Command Trooper 4. Chief Miller had command of the incident. This crash is being investigated by the Worcester County Sheriff's Office
